It’s probably a bit obvious that I am a big fan of love. And as such, I’m a sucker for Valentine’s Day. Give me an opportunity to celebrate love, and I’ll take it! And not just romantic love, but love between family, friends, you name it! While I hope I always show how much I appreciate those I care about, I am grateful for Valentine’s Day ~ a day that remind us to share it out loud… and perhaps with a little gift of love 🙂
I definitely have Spring on the brain these days, but I know there are plenty of you who are planning Fall or even Winter weddings, so I’m dedicating this inspiration board to you. A depart from more traditional Autumn hues, this palette alludes to the cool Winter season ahead ~ gray, sage, ivory and burlap tones are complimented by a pop of soft orange. I envision details of lace, burlap, gourds and touches of silver for a romantic and cool affair. I hope you feel inspired!
Today’s inspiration board is inspired by Pantone’s color of 2013: Emerald. A lively and lush jewel tone that evokes radiance. Here I’ve paired it with gray and gold for a chic and dramatic combination.

The other day I went on a blush wedding gown pinning spree. I just couldn’t help myself. The color is so soft and romantic, yet unique. Check out some of my favorite blush encounters below and head over to my Pinterest bridal style page for more blush and bridal fashion inspirations.
From the cut out to intricate lace details, the backs of wedding gowns found their way to center stage at Bridal Market 2013. I just love the idea of a decorative back. Not only will your guests most likely be viewing your back for a good 30 minutes or more during your ceremony, but a decorative back adds a beautiful element to your ceremony photos, many of which are taken from this angle especially in churches or other places of worship with photography restrictions. Below are 10 wedding gowns with the most gorgeous backs, one might want to walk backwards.
