Nouveau Wedding Bands: Currently Trending

There are so many tiny details that go into a marriage and planning for a wedding – from the cake topper to the ceremony chairs, no small design choice goes unnoticed on your big day. When you think about the longevity of the impact certain choices, however, it can make it easier to prioritize. Case in point: choosing your wedding ring! Unlike the tabletop rentals or flower arrangements you choose for the day (which last a maximum of 12 hours, even if they’re fantastic), the wedding rings you select to wear as a symbol of your love will be displayed on your finger for years to come.

We’ve rounded up five of the hottest trends in wedding bands right now, to help make this stylistic decision an easy one – let us know which are your favorites, and what you’re choosing for your wedding this year!

Currently Coveting: Wedding Capes

One trend that I found absolutely striking at the 2015 Bridal runway shows was the use of capes. From the delicate to the dramatic, they are utterly romantic and offer a great alternative to the traditional veil. We would love to see a bride wearing this down the aisle! What do you think of this look? Would you choose a cape over a veil?

Currently Coveting: Flower Wild

There’s nothing quite like a line up of poppy-bright spring weddings bursting with fresh flowers to kick off the season with a bang – and right now, we (and just about everyone else we know) are coveting Wildflowers! The look is equal parts messy chic and casually elegant, and mixes nicely with just about any outdoor venue or spring motif you can imagine. For this reason, the trend is cropping up everywhere on the wedding scene, and as California girls, we’re accustomed to seeing flowers abundantly – but never anything quite like this! With so many ways to take advantage of the carefully curated and delightfully diverse blooms, we’ve taken the liberty of sharing five of our favorites examples here. How are you going flower wild this season?
