Still not sure what to do for your sweetie this Valentine’s Day? Don’t worry, Kaella has you covered. Here are some last-minute creative ideas to show your love to your someone special.
Even when this lady was single, she was a firm believer that Valentine’s day wasn’t just for couples. As I mentioned in last week’s post, it’s a day to celebrate love, and that includes the family and friends you love, right?! That’s why I love this idea, because it can work for everyone. We’re talking about having a coffee or hot cocoa date to show someone just how much you care about them. Add some heart shaped marshmallows to give the hot drinks a special Valentine’s Day treatment!
These are some simple, but creative DIY cards any procrastinator can make for Valentine’s Day. On the left, you just need a book of matches (tear the matches out until just two remain), past it to a plain card, write the message “we’re a perfect match” and voila!, you have yourself a card for your Valentine. On the right, is a cute way to use an existing photo, add some graphics and text. Then print for a Valentine’s Day card you can send anybody!
Now we’ve all heard the saying, “a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach,” so why not bake a Valentine’s Day cake or make him breakfast with a loving inspired twist?!
These two DIY projects make simple and sweet gifts. Create custom heart-shaped labels to attach to your favorite tea bags. Or bake heart shaped cookies and wrap in a cute box or bag. You may even want to throw a tea party for your friends and combine the two!
Send a message. Leave a banner note for your sweetie. Or deliver a heart attack! Yeah – you heard me, a heart attack! Find out how to make this awesome DIY idea on The House That Lars Built blog, as fantastic site for creative inspiration! She also did a heart attack for the door, which is perfect for a person who lives near you.
