Currently coveting: Laser cut

August 22, 2012 5 Comments

One of my favorite new-comers this year was laser cut stationery, and I have a feeling it is going to be in high demand for 2013. First spotted among beautiful wedding invitations, this delicate and lux design has many stunning applications, from fashion to decor. I’ve gathered some of my favorite laser cut inspirations for your viewing pleasure. What do you think of this trend? Hot or Not?

For more breathtaking invitation designs, head over to the site of stationer guru, Ceci New York.

I’m really excited about laser cut in fashion. Would you dare to wear one of these dresses? To much for you? You can make a more subtle statement with laser cut shoes and accessories.

For an extra lux effect, add laser details to your decor. I just love this ceremony backdrop from BHLDN.

I've loved laser cut for years..fun to see it get it's "day in the sun". check out my wedding invites - I labored over my friend's ginormous laser die cut machine for 2 days to produce them! (see 1st row How magazine )http://www.spitfiregirldesign.com/noteworthy/

I think it's St. Pucchi but it was custom made and I'm sure I can't afford it. They have a short version that I love but won't work for my daughter's wedding. Honk if you see anything like it.

Stunning, isn't it? I've been trying to track down the designer. The closest I got is the original post of the wedding on the photographer's blog. I just left a comment to find out who the designer is. Here's the link. I hope he will respond with an answer for you. http://wscottchesterblog.com/index.cfm?postID=402

Looking for the wedding dress (laser cut lace) pictured on the right of the 3 dresses. Who makes it, please? Thanks!
