Earlier this year, Christy of Allure Consulting asked me to design a picnic themed wedding photo shoot that she was coordinating. Bright colors, layers of gingham and preppy details brought the vision to life in the beautiful garden of San Francisco’s Swedenborgian Church. Beyond the inspiring details was a meaningful message from the vendors to advocate marriage equality. Our models were real-life couple Randy and Kresimir. All the details were captured by the talented Meg Perotti and the fabulous images are featured on Style Me Pretty today! I just love puppies in weddings, so I made little bow-tie collars when I found out our models were bringing their pups! And aren’t these kale boutonnieres by Ingela Floral Design to die for? Masculine and modern, yet they pack a punch!

I wish you could feel the letterpress invitations by The Aerialist Press. Even the gingham pattern was pressed and had such a luxurious texture. We balanced the modern preppy style with vintage pieces from One True Love Vintage Rentals, including the beautiful trunks and crates above.
