Palette Inspiration: Moody Hues

As we move past the new year and into the coldest part of the winter season, wedding inspiration colors get richer as the temperature drops. Not all brides are of the ballet-pink-peony or beachy-nantucket-blue variety, and we think that’s FANTASTIC. We see brides moving more and more towards late fall/winter weddings these days, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about it – not to mention, the varietals of flora and fauna change so much from season to season, its an opportunity to pull together a totally different wedding look. Dark Dahlia’s abound, swirly greys and black velvets anchor some of the richest color palettes of the season, and photographers delight in the richness within every frame. Ever seen wedding photography in the snow? It’s positively swoon-worthy.

We’ve assembled a few of our favorite inspiration images and ways to pull off the look here – we hope this inspires your moodiest of winter events!
