And of course food! We’ve got some pin-worthy features for you to peruse, while you rest off that food coma. In addition to Wednesday’s featured KLE wedding, Jayne and Chris’ Black Tie wedding is published on The Knot today! Below is the inspiration behind this sensational celebration with some of my favorite images by Robin Jolin Photography. Be sure to head over to The Knot for the full feature. Big thank you to all the vendors who came together to make this one happen – there were 25! Check out the full list at the bottom of this post.

Jayne and Chris began dating while each attended Stanford University, where they played Basketball and Football respectively. The story of how they met is pretty incredible, if you are ever lucky enough to hear it. Jayne went on to play basketball professional and was finishing out her WNBA season with the San Antonio Stars while we planned their wedding. It was only natural the two would select the Stanford Memorial Church at their alma mater for their ceremony with the reception at Kohl Mansion

When we met they focused mostly on the guest experiences. To quote, they wanted to “blow them away with an atmosphere they won’t forget!” When it came to design, they did offer some specific direction. Both agreed on a classic and formal affair. Jayne wanted touches of glam, while Chris often referred to “James Bond” when trying to describe his vision. To appeal to them both, we went with a black and white color palette with touches of blush and greenery to soften the contrasting colors and add some romance.

With almost 300 guests, each vignette needed to be attention-grabbing. We set up a large black and white lounge flanked by gorgeous pedestal flower arrangements. An oversized 3-paneled seating chart by Brown Fox Calligraphy, draped in florals showed guests to their tables and also acted as a unique photo backdrop.

They wanted Mexican food! Thomas John Events created a refined menu with street corn on the cob, chicken mole and homemade guacamole! The surprises continued with a churro cart and cigar bar after cake cutting. Just before the last dance, guests were teated with In-n-Out cheeseburgers.
