Kaella Lynn Events is hiring: Assistant Planner

We are looking for a part-time Assistant Planner to support our impeccable work and uncompromising standards for our clients and vendors. You will report directly to the Owner and Creative Director, Kaella Wilson, by handling a variety of tasks from office administration to assisting at our events. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part time position and interested in growth within the company. 


Tasks include:

  • Vendor communications
  • Lead and proposal generation
  • Sourcing for events
  • Admin duties: Maintaining systems, organizing information, scheduling, filing, etc
  • Day of assistance at weddings and events (requires weekends)
  • May include blogging and some social media planning


Important skills:

  • Proficient in GDrive, Excel, Social Media (WordPress and Photoshop a plus, but not required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self motivated and proactive
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience in hospitality/wedding industry or related field is a plus
  • Has high standards and takes pride in your work



  • Ability to work standing for long hours and lift up to 50lbs
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Weekend availability for booked events
  • A passion for the wedding and event industry and commitment to the hard work it takes to create these unforgettable experiences
  • Trustworthy, reliable and flexible to changes in tasks and schedule



  • 10-12 hours per week with one 5-6 hour in studio session per week required
  • Assisting on-site at events for 8-12 hours depending on the needs of the event
  • We value longevity and loyalty and an ideal candidate is interested in being part of our team long-term


Payment: To be discussed based on experience
